Hawkesbury

Hawkesbury is a Franco-Ontarian city in Prescott-Russell county in Eastern Ontario, Canada. The vast majority of its 10,550 inhabitants are francophone.

The Long-Sault Bridge links it to Grenville, Quebec, to the north. This bridge, crossing Chenail Island, is the only interprovincial bridge between Ontario and Quebec east of Ottawa. Hawkesbury is about halfway between Ottawa and Montréal.

The Hawkesbury Fire Department comprises five professional firefighters and twenty-eight dedicated volunteer firefighters managed by a part-time director and his administrative assistant, the Hawkesbury Fire Department.

This unit is a 2016 Dodge Ram service truck. Its primary purpose is to transport personnel and equipment to an emergency scene. It will also transport personnel to the Ontario Fire College and other formations.

This unit is a 1996 pump truck. It has 5,000 litres (1,050 imperial gallons) per minute Hale pump and carries 3,600 litres (800 imperial gallons) of water in its booster tank and various firefighting and rescue equipment.

P1-99 pump truck

This unit is a 1999 pump truck. It has 5,000 liters (1,050 imperial gallons) per minute Hale pump and carries 3,100 liters (700 imperial gallons) of water in its booster tank and various firefighting and rescue equipment.

A-203 ladder truck

This unit is a used 2003 E-One Platform 95' Ladder Truck. This truck has a Hale pump of 7570 litres (2000 US gallons) per minute and hauls 1135 litres (300 US gallons) of water in her booster tank and a variety of firefighting equipment.
