Liturgy is the customary public ritual of worship performed by a religious group. Liturgy can also be used to refer specifically to the public worship of Christians. As a religious phenomenon, liturgy represents a communal response to and participation in the sacred through activities reflecting praise, thanksgiving, remembrance, supplication, or repentance. It forms a basis for establishing a relationship with God.
Technically speaking, liturgy forms a subset of ritual. The word liturgy, sometimes equated in English as "service", refers to a formal ritual enacted by those who understand themselves to be participating in activities with the divine.

The presiding Bishop of the Mission Episcopate of Saints Francis and Clare has retired, placed it into voluntary suspension, and all clergy have been amicably relocated.
We are leaving the website online if case anyone wishes to use the forms of Liturgy and Mass Propers etc.

For the mass and ceremonies, we use the Book of Common Prayer in which we have in French and English as well.
Les Douze Grandes Fêtes sont, après Pâques, les plus importantes fêtes liturgiques célébrées par l'Église orthodoxe. Elles sont :
la Nativité de la Très Sainte Mère de Dieu, le 8 septembre ;
l'Exaltation de la Très Sainte Croix, le 14 septembre ;
la Présentation de la Très Sainte Mère de Dieu au Temple, le 21 novembre ;
la Nativité du Seigneur, le 25 décembre ;
le Baptême du Christ ou Théophanie, le 6 janvier ;
la Présentation du Christ au Temple, ou Sainte Rencontre, ou Chandeleur, le 2 février ;
l'Annonciation, le 25 mars ;
l'Entrée du Christ à Jérusalem ou Dimanche des Rameaux (une semaine avant Pâques) ;
l'Ascension du Seigneur (40 jours après Pâques) ;
la Pentecôte (50 jours après Pâques) ;
la Transfiguration du Christ sur le mont Thabor, le 6 août ;
la Dormition de la Très Sainte Mère de Dieu, le 15 août.
